    I see a pretty pelican but I wish I saw more of it! Is this a crop or can you show more of the wings?

    Unfortunately that's all I got of him. I have some other full shots of him, but they aren't as good composition wise and are cluttered with background noise.

    Welcome to PR.

    You got those eyes nice and sharp, which is always important, and great detail in those feathers.
    I disliked then liked then disliked the composition. Maybe a crop about half way between its head and the head of the background pelican?

    The composition feels a bit odd to me. The second bird is not helpful and the wings beg the viewer to see more.

    The lighting, although harsh, is nice on the head, neck, eye, and bill. So I would recommend a tighter crop to feature those stronger elements. But even then I think you'll find that far shoreline to be problematic.
