    Fish anyone?

Here are another couple of shots from this past weekend. This one is an American avocet taken with my digital rebel.

You've posted some fine photos lately. I like these, but each could be a little sharper and if you could see the fish better, it would be a special photo.

That is very interesting. They look very sharp on my screen. Does anyone else have a comment about this?

I agree they're a little soft. I'm viewing them on a CRT monitor. Is your monitor an lcd flat panel by chance? They sometimes makes things look sharper than CRT monitors.

dadas, there's "sharp" and then there's "amazingly sharp".

To me yours look sharp, but from my experience here I've seen amazingly sharp images posted by other people.

Which lens are you using? I've got a DRebel and my pictures come out about as sharp as yours. Are you using the kit lens?

Yes I am looking at them on an Samsung 193P LCD screen and the first one in particular is very sharp. The second one just falls under the acceptably sharp category at least on my screen. The prints also came out looking very nice. The lens used is the EF 100-400 IS.

    Thanks for the feedback,

    Greg
