    First Submission

The meter had the contrast changed, the second had a filter applied. Tell me what you guys think.

    Re: First Submission

Welcome to the forum. . . the first one i like the dof and the tone of the glass dome.. not a bad shot at all. i really like the second one. Composition is great with the negative spaace. The stuffed Donkey I Tiggers friend)? on the rocking chair with the filter is very good. Good compositions on both shots. b&w a good choice for both.
Looking forward to more from you.

Good shots here. The slight tilt in the first one gives it a little extra edge. I think the second shot would be a strong enough composition to stand without the filter, although the painterly feel results in a nice image as well. It almost looks like there is a cave art horse on the wall near the right edge.

    Re: First Submission

Ha, hadn't noticed that horse before..weird. my friends scanner is a little dirty, as in my thrift store camera, so thats just dust or scratches. I too, liked the shot a lot without a filter on it, but to be honest, I mainly put it there cause the shot was not quite in focus, so it was a little blurry, and this fixed it up, and kept the same mood I wanted.
Thank you both for the compliments.

You picked a good subject for the second photo, I can just imagine sad old depressed eeyore rocking in that chair, complaining.
I'm not sure about the filter - though it certainly has the right dark mood.
