I was out earlier tonight and wanted to try my new D100 with some night shots, what do y'all think of this shot?

    Re: first post with D100

A tad grainy for me, but I like the stairway on the right. Interesting structural shot.

handheld night shot with D100 (noise removal tips?)

Thanks, I know it is a little grainy because I shot it at ISO 6400. I shot this handheld at 8pm at night with a 20mm Vivitar lens. I'll probably go back and shoot it again with a tripod where I can get a much better shot. I'm also getting used to the photoshop etc, can anyone suggest a good way to remove noise, I've actually shot this RAW and was trying to manipulate the file.

Sounds more like you should have posted this over in the Digital Imaging Forum, rather than the Critique one?
    Yes? No?
