    First picture with the new canon rebel I just picked up



    Picking up some new lenses this week (just have the stock one
    that comes with it.

    besides the horizon being slightly tilted... i see nothing wrong.

    sunsets can neither be shot wrong or right... it's all up to the shooter to expose what he/she would deem the subject

    Well, you've got a great sky and the silhouetted area good and black. What this, and most other great sky shots, needs is an interesting silhouetted subject to draw the viewer's eye into the frame, which then is complimented by that nice sky. Good image...could be an excellent shot with something more interesting in the foreground.
