    First pics with my 20D

    Here are some of my first RAW to jpg conversions with my new 20D. I was amazed at how large the photos are with this camera. I had to reduce these by about 70% to make the within the limits for posting. These were both hand held shots with the kit lens.

    looks good. the first image, the horizontal frame, i'm not too keen on as it looks busy with the other tree coming in from the left, and the fences and other thing in the field. Also, the bit of road in the foreground is not benefiting the scene.
    the second shot, the vertical frame, is very nice. i like the composition there and the clarity and sharpness looks very good. also the exposure is very good as well.

    Thanks. I would of loved to have one tree all alone, which is what i was looking for when I spotted them when I was out driving. But they were all in a row and that one was the first one of the row.

    How's this, I cropped out what I could of the other tree coming in from the left and the piece of road in the foreground.
