    First. photos for 2005

    We had some freezing rain yesterday so I thought I would see what I could do with it. Please let me know what you think.

    Can see what you are after in the first two Michael. I'm wondering had you zoomed in closer on the first one whilst still including the leaf would it have worked better.
    The second one is marred by a lack of depth in the image and the far bank of the river from your chosen angle looks a bit uninteresting.

    The third one, the simplest, is the most interesting one to me.

    Some good work here. I like the third one best, but think it needs a curves adjustment something like this to put the sparkle back in the flat lighting.
