    "First Light"

    I took this one on Sunday morning with my Canon 5D and a 17-40mm F4.0 L lens. More of my pictures can be seen at http://www.jeanroy-photo.com What do you think?

    That's hot!

    The only way that I can think of that you might have improved this image would have been to get a little closer to the water so more of the brightly lit mountain on the right would have been in the reflection.

    I often shoot sunrises like this with a split ND filter to lighten up the foreground but I like the darkness here.

    Very nice. I figured you had to live near Calgary before I even looked to see where you lived. I wish the foreground was a little brighter. But overall I like this a lot.
