    Cool First Fetish shoot (safe)

Hooked up with a new designer and did a test shoot 2 nights ago with a model I hadn't worked with before. She was a bit apprehensive going in, but really started to loosen up towards the end. Critique?

I think I like the third one the most...probably because of the softer lighting. The second one...not sure if there's any particular meaning in this shot but it those tilted candles kind of look weird The first one I guess the harsh light fits the subject matter but I would tone down some brighter spots in her chest area.

Jet - I don't know why, but I have a hard time evaluating these. In many ways they look like all the pieces are in place, but something seems unrefined also (well, I guess some could make the argument that they're supposed to look unrefined, given the context).

The first one does seem a little strange, but can't say why. I think it needs either a looser crop or a tighter one. The first would look good if the table wasn't there on the left. The lighting seems a little too harsh. The third is probably the best IMO, but I wish she was smiling.

Well, even if these didn't go over as well as I had hoped, I'm glad to get the feedback. Suggested fixes are simple enough with some light cloning. I do have looser and tighter crops with the motorcycle (maybe 200 frames overall) as well as other angles. Also have shots of the model smiling in all the outfits, but it seems so unnatural to have a a dominatrix or submissive smiling, as that's not at all what it's about in the real fetish world.

Honestly, I think the second shot is my favorite but I agree the tilted candles are a little weird. I wish they weren't there. Her expression in the second one is good, fits the fetish thing well, but I might like to see one where she had her eyes open, looking up.

Have none with eyes open AND looking up, but several with eyes open.

Like the second and third, the one you just reposted I think isn't as good as the other one you posted. The first I dont like I think mainly because the stand and posture doesn't seem too natural, and the expression is just too plain. I think her being square to the camera isn't working in the shots favor, a little angle I think could have helped.

But the second and third are really cool, can't think of any critique on those. I'm neutral on the candles, I think they work there, and I think it could work without it as well.
