    First efforts with new 20D

    These two shots were taken on a cold day at Martin Mere, Lancashire in the UK, using my new Canon 20D along with a Sigma 100-300mm F4 lens and 1.4 converter.
    No room in the hide for a tripod so I had to use a beanbag as support.

    Great first efforts Mark..I'm not a photographer of birds (the feathered variety) so really I can't comment to much on your images...They are well exposed,composed and sharp..I like the image of the swan the best..

    BTW,,the 20D is a brilliant camera,,enjoy it..

    Can only echo Jurgen's comments, you have nicely exposed shots here and the camera lens combination works really well so hope to see more from you soon.
