    First Diptych attempt... Suggestions?

I had never really thought of doing one of these until today. Saw Curtis in the bathroom window facing one way earlier and when I walked back by later he was in the same window facing the other way. I really have no idea how to frame these or anything... soooo how'd I do?

I think you need a third but this is great.

Picture quality? I think I would crop a bit off the top; maybe get rid of half of the blinds but don't change anything else.

Thanks MB1 I tried for a third. A little bit after the second shot was taken, he was sitting upright in the window facing straight out. Unfortunately, when I went to grab my camera, he jumped down Each of the shots are 8x10 crops. You think cropping down the blinds, making them each a square format, would work better? Damn, I wish I had saved the PSD file for this for future adjustments. DOH!

Since you have already clipped the pics out of their original images what about flipping the first frame around so that it looks like a paneled mosaic type of shot? Just a thought. As it is I feel slightly disturbed by the beheaded Curtis.

You can always use a blank window as a 'third' shot.

The headless cat doesn't quite add anything as it is I would tend to agree. What you might try is to flip the body around and use it to the left of the forequarter portion of the cat. That way the cat would be spread across two frames.

The suggestion for the 'flipped' photo with an empty window in the middle for a tryptych might be a possibility. It would be a very symmetric presentation.

I would like to see just the tail as a third image or perhaps a cat toy of some sort......

Thanks for the input everyone. I'm going to try and play around with this more in the next couple days when the sun is back out and see what I can come up with. I think this will be turning into a triptych
