    first attempt at skate park and DJ'ing

    heres some shots i took. im all behind the camera. didnt get to many 'good' ones i really like the first one but thats about it. im just trying to lean how to take better action shots. it was my first time shooting at a skate park

    Hi - I think the action freezes are fine. I don't see much to nitpick about except some very slight softness on the bikers/scaters and possibly not enough depth of field on one of them to ensure that their entire body and equipment was in focus. Your ISO might be too low. You will need to bump it up at least by 100, maybe more (!?). Try it and see.

    Compositionally most are close to being right on, but they all seem to suffer from too high an angle that results in background objects behind the subject. Gotta get lower to get those outta there. You could also try a wider aperture but not sure this is the way to solve it (you would need to use a higher focal length too). I'd lay on the ground if I had to. I think the shots would be great like that.
