Good composition. Just a few things, the colors seem a tad washed out, and could use a color boost. Also, the black area in the left hand corner does not contribute to this picture, so it could be cropped out or removed.

    Good shot though,

I think the black area is fine. It provides definition and contrast to the busier area of the shot.

What a lovely interesting composition! I find in a lot of my indoor shots that it helps to boost the contrast to the final product to add that little extra bit of "snap" Enjoy your new camera it seems to be doing a great job for you!

The New York shot is quite nice as well, it has such a great feeling of depth to it, interesting colors and a pleasing composition.

When you view a photo to give a critique do you download it to your computer for viewing ? and if so what program or viewer do you use ?

I think most folks just view as it is onthe message board. Some will download it to make adjustments to illustrate what they are commenting on - then the most popular program seems to be Photoshop. I personally use PhotoShope Elements 3 - the full program is a bit expensive for me, and Elements does a great job. I'm sure others will have different views and other programs they prefer.
