Thanks Liban, in the original image the dead tree didn't stand out as much as I would have liked so in this I used cs5 single shot hdr feature plus a b&w overlay .

yeah much better. The tree on the left was a bit too dark as well and its contrast was drawing too much attention to itself in the original. the newer version draws has that dead tree much more prominent in it.
