    Firefighter

    There was a big fire last night in town so I went to go take a look. I took many picture but alot of them came out blurry, this is my best picture that I took that night. Please critique and enjoy.

    It's a bit hard to figure out what's going on...because of the lighting...I think if you cropped the bottom part(bluish part) off completely it may detract less from being ale to focus on the fireman... here's a very good interesting fireman photo...because of the "chaos" thats eems to be going on at fires it helps to have a clear shot or point of focus...welcome aboard never seeen you on... http://gallery.photographyreview.com...sort=1&cat=504

    I agree with Natalie: I would crop the bottom and a bit on the right. I would leave the firefighter in the bottom right of the pic to make him look smaller facing the blaze. This will improve the overall drama of the scene.

    It's not a bad photo at all. It lacks sharpness though, and the flash was a killer because of the reflective material. The best way to take this shot is to kneel and find something to give you support such as a car bumper or a fire hydrant, and then use a slow shutter speed to blur the fireman movement and the water. The rest should come up sharp.

    Good opportunity there. Hope nobody got hurt in that blaze!
