    Fire in the sky

Picture I took earlier this summer. Not the most original subject, but I thought the colours in the sky were exiting.

It looks pretty superb to me! The clouds give the impression they are moving. Perhaps the foregound is just a smidgin dark, but that is a minor point. A square format is daring too.

Very nice, as usual. I also like the 'matt' you put around it. The only thing I am not sure of is the bottom rock -- I wish I could either see it better, or that it was out of there completely.

    Great shot!

Yeah I had a hard time deciding what to do with the rock. I tried a crop without it, but i felt the photo lost some depth, and all foreground interest so I kept it. It is actually a bit brighter in the original, but I agree with you; I wish it could have been a bit brighter, and more details in it, still I felt it was better than to crop it out all together.

Thank you for always finding time to comment on my photos though!

    Oooooo.

    I like the square format.

    Another winner here.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Yet another great shot collargoll. That sky is awesome! Curious, care to share any details on the shot? Aperture setting, exposure time...? Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see what you post next

The image blasts out at ya. Very effective. Maybe crop some of the dark around the edges to make the sun-action bigger.
