    Finally testing my evolt 500

I have finally gotten around to fiddling with my evolt and today was focused on shutter speed. Let me know what you think of this one. I used a tripod. Today(as most summer days in Memphis) was hazy so crispness seems to elude me. This one was 1/100 at f4 iso 100

Re: Finally testing my evolt 500

It's kinda small. But it's really nice. And since I live in California, where it's not very hazy (unless you include smog), I think midwestern summer haze is kinda charming

My only criticism is that I think it has a bit more sky than necessary. If you cropped it ot just a bit above the sun you'd focus the viewer's attention more on the foreground. Try scrolling down a bit to chop off some of the sky and you'll see what I mean.

Have you posted a review for your E-500 yet? I know we need more reviews for that camera. Here's a link to that review page:

Thanks for sharing and thanks in advance for the review. Hope my critique helps

Ok I have cropped this and as per Carl, I have played around with the shadowing. I agree , this I think looks better. Thanks for the input!
