    film+lion+sun

Here's one from the B+W class I took last fall.
Scanned it, adjusted slightly and cloned a ton of dust from it. (hope I got it all)
It was from a roll I shot for a silloette assignment.

    Shot with a Yashice 230AF 50mm 1.8

What grade would you give me on this?

    Look through a glass eye.
    Give it a few tries.

I really like the concept and idea here. Angle was spot on, and you got a real cool water effect going on behind him. I like also the fade to black of the lion and the statues. Id like to see a little bit more of the lions face in the light, but that wouldn't be much of a silhouette at that point.

Next time, get a friend to go up next to the lion, and stick his legs out like the lion is having his evening snack ;)

If your just learning worry about exposure, framing , composition , don't worry about anything else, Don't turn into a "tech" photographer we have way to many of those!! This shot looks good my eye goes towards the waterfall now figure out why

The lion is too centered for me.

Thats the only nitpick I have. Otherwise, I think it's a really good shot!
