    A Filbert Farm

Photo taken with the Yashica 124G...printed on RC paper, image is 11"x11". The whole photo wouldn't fit on my scanner so your missing a tad bit on the bottom and top.

    Comments welcomed.

    Hi PT,
I admire your attempt to shoot the place in a non-traditional way. The branches form very good lines, however, the focal point is not too prominent. May be more falling leaves? I am not too sure. Thanks or sharing.

Tao, there is an overall softness in this picture which doesn't really works for me. That being said, I truly love your composition. You present this scene tastefully.

yoyo - Thank you, I'm not sure what traditional would of looked like, but I'm glad that it has a non-traditional look.

Seb - Thanks. Probably my biggest complaint on the photo as well. The wind caused the leaves to move a bit and a wide aperture (I believe) were to blame, and the photog too . The actual print is a bit better, the tree in the forground is very sharp with excellent detail. I think the scanner did not do well on this photo and shrinking it didn't help. I look forward to reshooting this scene.

    Cheers,
