    Shot this at 20mm and f/2.8 and kinda liked it. Do you?

    Shooting with a big aperture certainly helps you to capture the detail of your subject well, nice that it is slightly off centre, wouldn't say that this has any resemblance to a passport photo!!!

    HAH! Your composition here is PERFECT for the maximum humorous effect!
    What a neat capture!
    The softness of the out-of-focus area is great but I would like to see the subject either slightly sharper, or a little more contrasty to bring it out more.

    bah - i disagree. i see what youre saying, but i think that its dof and contrast makes it look more real, but i think the subject is still accurately seperated from the background. is this unedited? really, good job!

    The composition, DOF, and colors are excellent. I too, would like to see Fido a little sharper though.

    I like the space on the top off the image
    it balances out this picture but i feel that we are loosing the dog at f2.8
    his nose looks blurry
    Please let me know
