The two last are my faves of this bunch, but i'm a tree freak! Love the pop of color in the last! Awesome!

I like the second shot a lot, as well as it's counterpart in the other thread, but I'm w/ Janie on that last one, the pop of color is outstanding, even more amazing is how well you naiked the exposure - this one could easily have blown out in a dozen different places, but you nailed it (also like the composition with the trunk placement within the frame)

I think the first doesn't have enough depth of field with the focal point somewhere in the middle.
The second seems much better and your b/w conversion stands out better. I'd like a different composition at more of an angle but hard to tell not having been there. I'd also like to see something else in the photo.

Chris - Good concepts and originality, which is the most important thing IMO. The first three's technical execution isn't the best though: focus isn't on a good spot in # 1, the pic's way too soft in # 2 (a REAL shame since it's a neat shot !!), and # 3 seems a bit soft too (it would also be better in color). # 4 is a winner - nice placement of the tree in the frame, great color and "pop".. it also seems like an abstract
