    Festival Plaza

Taken at Festival Plaza in downtown Kalamazoo. It was a dreary day, so I'm going back to try it again when the sun's out.

    I like the composition.

Can you perhaps use a slower shutter to thicken that fountain? It would stand out more.

I know you mentioned it was a dreary day but maybe pushing the saturation on the computer will bring out the colors a bit.

    Nice.

yeah, I'll try a slower shutter and see how it turns out...I'm not crazy about the fountain spray myself, and I think it could use a little 'thickening'. As for the saturation, I did increase it a bit, but was afraid of oversaturating it. Thanks for looking and commenting.

I like it as is John. The light is even throughout and not harsh. The fountain looks nice. And since there is no sky in the picture I have no way to tell that this was a yucky day. Looks pretty good to me.
