    Festival of Nations

Once a year, groups of performers from various nations come to Eastern Tennessee
to a small theme park called "Dollywood". Attached are some photos from some of their performances on Saturday. Included are the Chinese Acrobats and some of the Russian Circus.
All shots were indoors with low lighting. No flash was required during these performances.
All of these pictures were shot with the Canon 20D.........ISO 1600........f3.5 to f4.5 @ 1/150 to 1/250.
Any suggestions / comments would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks,

    Scott

    Re: Festival of Nations

    Scott,

Besides some noise on them because of the 1600 ISO, there's are great. Wonderful colors and a great subject. The composition is great on all of them, my faves are the first and the last ones!

    Nice shooting,

    Jared

I think the last one is by far the best photograph.
I like how you placed the performer and how everything tapered out downward.
    Good Stuff!

Scott, good shots. Especially impressive at 1600 iso. The last one and the first are probably the stongest, But I personally like the second and third ones most, just think they should have been tighter cropped. Good work.
btw, I like the image in your avatar, did you post that one anytime?

Thanks for the positive feedback Gary!
About the avatar............Our local newspaper has a photo contest annually in March.
I actually got so involved in trying to get prints ready for that, I totally forgot to post it!
I am supposed to get my prints back soon along with my first prize $50.00 for the Black and White catagory! I'll try to get it posted soon. Thanks for reminding me.
