    Feelin' Blue

My daughter was not happy that it was time to leave the playground, and so she stucker her self in the kids slide and refused to come down.......couldn't resist this shot. It was VERY overcast, and I did not have anything but my kit lens and the pop up flash, so, I just lightened it manually on the camera, to try and get her as bright as possible......anything I could have done different?? Thanks!!

I wouldn't of changed anything IMO. I love the shot and the title is very fitting. The end of the slide (?) is a bit busy with the trees and such a contrast in color, but that's more of a composition thing than a technical thing. Great shot and love the title!

Thanks Jared! It took me over 20 minutes to come down. I would have loved to had blue sky that day just to add to the blue feeling.

    Chow,

Blue sky would've been the best addition! Atleast it's available for a reshoot!

Yes, luckily, my daughter never wants to leave and frequently props herself up in the slides! LOL All I need now is some weather cooperation!

A really neat idea, Chow. I like her expression and her position and such...and agree about the busy-ness behind her. I do think it's pretty fun, as is though.

They are my favorite ones! I will try to do a reshoot with better weather and see if I can get the shot right. I am not sure if blue sky will simplify the background.....or make it more busy!
