    Re: February

    Don,

I do like that you are willing to just head out there ...around the neighborhood and look for things to shoot. I am always sitting around the house and complaining how there is not much to take photos of around where I live. I guess there is :-)

I really like the cat in #1 shot. The green "bra" seems to be complimented by the vines of the same color and the red flower makes a nice balance.

I don't really get the boat with the bright sun though. Maybe I will one day.

    Thanks.

Thanks llewpics. Photography is sheer pleasure to me. No business or aspirations. I kick it around.

    Re: February

Don, I really like the last pic. It draws my eyes in and out of focus, the blur with colors in the background really adds to the effect. Great job!

I am new here and new to photography, can I ask about the 2nd and 3rd photos? Is that effect from post-processing? It seems over-sharpened... Not sure, but I think i would like to see a softer effect and more color saturation. Perhaps richer browns and oranges in the 2nd pic.

I would be interested in what you think.

    Thanks,
    Judy

Of the set #5 grabs me the most, I know you have your own ideas about processing but I think you have over cooked this a bit Don. There seems to be a story here perhaps of better times to come.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

I have no issues with you editing my photos

    Re: February

Thanks guys. Sometimes I overcook things. I wonder if sometimes monitor differences affect the way the pictures look. Post processing using Paintshop Pro is definitely part of my presentation. Usually when I put pictures up I like how they look. I know we can disagree.
