    So, what do you think?

Nikon D200, white paper background with strong lighting to wash out the back.

    Re: Fashion

Nice colors, good pose, looks like fun.

I might wish for a little less contrast and a little more DOF as the rear boot looks a little soft and with so little in the image I think everything should be sharp.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: Fashion

MB - The image isn't razor sharp, but I don't see the fade in the rear boot like you do. To me it looks just as sharp as the front one.

Thanks for the feedback. Shooting fashion is a totally different ball game than landscapes, which comprises 80% of my normal photography. I'm getting to where I want to diversify a little, so look for more of these type shots from me in the future rrr:

    GB,

This does look like fun. I have never had the pleasure of doing studio work but would enjoy the chance. Good shots, creative. I like them.

The colors in the first image add to the pose and give the idea of fun.

To me the second image says "Eeu, what's that on the bottom of my shoe?"
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: Fashion

Hey CF - Thanks for commenting. I'll keep you in mind for a possible collaborative shoot. Finding an affordable studio rental here in SD isn't easy though -- most are too big and they want you to pay for the entire thing.

MB - Yep, you're right. It does look like she stepped on something. I think I'll keep this one in mind for a possible PS experiment / collage where I add something there.

Here's a fun edit Inspired by something I saw on a bridge here in San Diego... someone had painted an G. Bush face on the walkway for people to step on..
