    Pix of Chix

    Hi all..Went' to the farm a few days ago, and shot a few chix with my new Nikkor 105mm macro. This is my favorite. Appreciate comments.

    I believe that is supposed to be a very nice lens - enjoy!

    Are you using a photo manipulation software similar to Photoshop? If so, this shot could use a slight levels (histogram) adjustment to bring out some highlights, a contrast/brightness adjustment, a bit of sharpening, some slight dodging around the eyes and a little added saturation to show off the reds.. I've done that here for you to see in comparison (I hope you don't mind - if you do, I will understand so please let me know and I will immediately remove your image from my thread).

    Looks like a nice shot and a nice lens...

    Thanks for the feedback. The difference is amazing.

    I do have a copy of several enhancers, however I have not been able to make the most of them since my monitor isn't calibrated. It is going to interesting to try to match what you did.
