    Fantasy in Orange

The tobacco filter treatment may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I really like this image ...what do you think?

Very pleasant colors. I particularly enjoy the nice exposure of the trees (HDR?) Great composition.

Yes, it is HDR ...however I am trying to learn to "ease up" on it ...this was meant to look natural as much as it can with the orange sky :-)

Has a surreal look to it, very similar to how the sky changes when we have forest fires mixing smoke with the clouds. Overall a very pleasing image, but I'd like the shadows just a little darker.

    I really like it.
Best use of HDR I've seen in a while.

    Give it a few tries.

Great shot. Something about the grass in the foreground that sort of interrupts the balance and flow of the composition.

Oh btw as an advocate of the reduce-the-overuse-of-HDR campaign, great work, the lighting does look, well, the *intensity* of the light looks natural. The orange sky I can't really call "natural", but the tone is at least presented in a natural way.

Anbesol, I struggle with how much HDR to apply ...sometimes I have to say I love the overdone effect because ...well, I like it ...as an artistic expression, not to represent reality....such as Monochrome photography...but I do have to remind myself may times this is just not appropriate ...this being one of them ... :-)

Either way, when I look at HDR - I want to signs of photographer's control and not rampant and often unintended use of it ...

Liban, it is a tobacco grad filter ...and then a light HDR from it ...

Not sure about the grass in the fore ground possibly it needs a log or a cow pat or something, but that aside this has a cool Watership Downs feeling.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...
