The rings are nice
It's not only a childs reaction, my dog turns his head when he sees the camera in my hands, and the cat, well, she just runs off and hides!

The tones and the lighting are fabulous as usual! I like her "expression" too! My only concern is that I can't help thinking that your daughter should be off center (old habits die hard I guess). Don't get me wrong, I think that the framing works well here, especially with the position of the table at the bottom. However, I tried a square crop by loosing some of the left side and I thought that it looked quite interesting.
I have boxes of these from both my daughter and wife!
I think the composition is excellent and the way the chairs are almost but not symmetrical is wonderful.
Another hit.

This is really cool and a bit amusing. I think it's a great picture to have in black and white, as you have it. Also, I like how she's in focus and the backround isn't. Very nice.
Very nice shot. The rings add more interest to the image and l like the shallow DOF.
I would also like to see what she really looks like with her hands down, but I am only just curious .
I just thought another color version in near monochrome surroundings like a park on a dull gray winter's day
and your daughter wearing bright red nail varnish and colored gems in the rings on her fingers as being the only bright colors.
I wonder how that would work?.

Glad to see you still posting. I've always loved your work. Besides what everyone else has said, there are a few hot spots in the background (top left especially) that distract me a little.
