    Welcome to the forum, sparton.

    You asked specifically about composition. I feel the comp really works and follows (not that a photo always needs to) the rule of thirds well. I like the out of focus gras in the near fg and the angle of the flower as it looks up to te bright spots in the opposite corner.
    The title suggests that the image is mainly about the flower that lays on the grass having feel from its stem. Are the bright blown out spots in the trees significant, intentional or merely circumstantial?
    The comp is great, the color pleasing, ..
    I feel the real drawback to this shot is the large bright areas. They are more of a distraction than adding any significance.

    Thanks for the prompt reply Gary. The blown out spots are more of circumstantial. The photo is not edited as I am still learning how to use photoshop . Anyway, I'll keep that in mind for my next shots. Thanks once again.

    Man I love it, not what I was expecting by the title but that does not effect the image. Good Job...
