    fall colors

Posted this one over on the Nature forum for the Show me your leaves post. Wanted to put it over here to get some critique on it from everyone. I am really glad I found this board; a whole bunch of friendly people that actually know what they are talking about and don't put any pressure on you.

Srobb -- Pretty shot. Looks like it's about 3 or 4 days from peak.

I think the way you cropped out the sky is a good thing, cause from the little I see it was somewhat plain. But the water doesn't show much reflection, so it could also be cropped (imo). Maybe it doesn't reflect well cause of the angle you took it at? I never thought about it till now. Or, the water could be moving too fast or is a little too murky.

Must be nice in KY this time of year!

It seems a little light to me. I'd suggest a curves adjustment to get some of the color back.

    Re: fall colors

Thanks, Chunk, I will try to do that. Still learning how to do all that so at times I'm not sure what direction to go in.

GB, you would not want to be here right now. We have gone from being in the 60's to 40's and the teens and 20's at night. It was about 19 this morning as I came into work. The water I am not sure about. It is a small lake so it would not be moving very fast, if any. The areas I could see at the small ramp looked clear, but I could not say about further out. Thanks for the comments, both of you.
