I love the misty feel in this photo and the excellent composition. My only critique is that the sky looks to bright for the rest of the photo IMO.

A very nice beginning photo. Welcome to the forum! Perhaps my only critique is that I would have pointed the camera a bit lower, so the vanishing point was nearer the center of the composition. A very nice misty ethereal picture.

ARP,
This is a great shot. The reason I personally like it is because you can really play with this and turn it into something artsy and spectacular. I'm not trying to take away from the work as it is, but the possibilities have me really intrigued. I used this shot to play with perspective and skew and tighter cropping for example, and really came up with some rather dramatic views. You could even place something in the foreground or perhaps just within the fog to really turn this into a shot full of drama and statement.
Or you could just leave it alone. The composition is excellent and the choice of B&W with the fog creates drama and even a feeling of emptiness for me. Leave well enough alone or have fun experimenting. Again, that's why I like this shot.
Good photograph.
I like the composition.
The two rows of trees and how the fade into the horizion.
I look forward to seeing more from you.

Welcome ARP, great composition, I would not change it. The misty depth is very moody and good in b&w. My only critique is that for me this is too warm looking a b&w image. I like b&w to be a little cooler in tones with deeper blacks and brighter white, but it does serve the inage well. Good Shot
Great photo. Love the fog (the best time to shoot B&W!) and the vanishing point. Very nice capture and good timing on getting all the trees in bloom.
I would have to agree with some of the other posters that the image could of been stronger with a lower vanishing point. But that is just a little nit pik. This is a great photo and can't wait to see more...
Cheers.

I also like it a lot. What I would say has mostly been said already, so I won't repeat.
However, as I looked at it for a little while, I wondered what it would look like with a more severe crop. IMHO, this could be an interesting tall, thin photo and is a little more compelling this way. I hope you don't mind I took the liberty of showing you what I had in mind....
