Interesting pic, and I don't think the shadows need to be adjusted, atleast on my monitor. The one that I do find is distracting, is the light on the left third of the picture. That kind of 'spoils' the whole mysterious, dark affect. Though, it probably added good lighting to this picture, it is distracting and hopefully could be avoided if you do a reshoot!
