    Arne - Did it really need such processing? I think it removes realism. Is this a crop? I would like to see more of the shoulders.

    Thanks GB. In my opinion, the PP gave a little oomph to the shot, as far as a portrait was concerned. Maybe a bit too much.
    I did crop, but the shoulders are as is.
    Here is the OG, I only resized it.

    Interesting on how different people see the same photograph. I would prefer more of a crop which would bring out more facial details.

    Love the picture overall. I like the crop. PP is ok, but maybe just a little too much.

    I prefer the look of the second shot, but the composition of the first. Great expression on the gorilla's face! I think the tight crop works better. You don't really need to see the vegetation. It's visible enough in the background and showing more of it only distracts from the subject.

    I like the first picture with more of the face, but I think the picture is to overly bright. The 2nd is ok but its to dull, maybe something in middle?
