    Eye Candy

When some fresh blooms come back after the wind storm, I'll try this again.
Plane of focus is a bit off.

    Give it a few tries.

    Re: Eye Candy

I see the "eye" similarity, but that isn't the initial impact I got when I looked at the image. Not sure if you intended the feel of motion in this shot, but it gives the feel that the center of the flower is falling away, while the oof region above the focal plane makes it feel like I'm pulling away from the image. Cool effect!

Your imagination can have free rein with this one, the very shallow DOF does have a cool effect.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

I think you should clone the white spots they take away from the center. Your flower shots are always so impressive. Nice work.

    I think I agree.

Never seen a flower shot like this. Extremely creative, artistic image. Very nice.

I dont necessarily agree about the white. In fact I think they help the composition. the center of interest should maybe be just slightly lower, but the leading lines and colors are well done in my opinion.

    Thanks for the comments.....
The spots are pollen or something like that.
