    experisnowmenting

I like it, but then I'm biased, but really, does it work?

Roger, I love the abstract nature of the various snow covered branches twisting about in this image.
I am only not crazy about the cycan tint that is cast here and i feel that you should increase the levels to bring out more white in the snow to have the branches contrast stronger bringing out the patterns more profoundly.
Its a good composition to begin with.

    Gary,

Thanks, this is straight out of the Nikon with no editing. I will now set to work on editing it. I am lying down under a tree in snow of course with the camera pointing straight up thinking is this stuff going to come down :-)

I'll post the edit later tonight.

I'm with Gary. A great shot if you can bring out that snow better. Hopefully the sky will stay a strong blue where it is peaking through.

Really. It works! And though the color isn't what you might see in your head if you were imagining this scene, I do like it. Your edit with a more "expected" version of color will be interesting to see.

Yep, layer this in photoshop and paint in some selective highlights and it could be stunning.

I like the latent threat it implies, that snow looks like it could come down on you at any time.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

I have no issues with you editing my photos

Edited version, not sure how well I did with this. Any tips on how to correct it?

I like the second edit with the corrected color. I think it would make for a nice print. Cool shot Roger.
