    Evening Snack

    took this the other day around 6pm so the sun was going down lol shot with my good ol 18-55 mm he was in the ditch so i whipped the car around and took this pic
    not the greatest but let me know what you think

    thanks everyone! i thought he was eating out of a tree stump untill i drove by him again and its a dead porkie haha. i went psssssssssssssssssst and he looked up and i snapped it as soon as he stared at me

    I am trying to decide if I like all that extra space in the frame too. I'm thinking it isn't too bad and the crop as presented is quite interesting and gives a real sense of place.

    I guess I would have to see it against a tight crop to decide.

    BTW for a quick catch shot the OP did a real good job with exposure and focus. Good stuff.

    I like the sense of space there.
    You can see it in its environment.
    Instead of such a tight crop it might as well be a zoo animal.

    I agree great capture everthing is so clear and in focus don't change a thing, I believe the extra space gives the creature a more of its elements ,and not so posey .
