    Evening shot..

    Too much flash? Or just right? I can't decide - but I think I like it. What do y'all think?

    I think you got the fash just right. Maybe take the picture from a slightly different angle so it don't look so flat. I like the DOF.

    Thank you - I'll try to get out there tonight and see if I can get another angle. I choose this one to show the individual petals that look like little trumpets.

    A bit too much flash, the red is on the verge of being overexposed, the yellow is already there. I suggest you try this again when it's overcast with some nice diffused shadows. Not that this shot is bad, but the flash takes away some of the shape and texture that softer lighting would create.
