Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

I like the glow on the bottom of the fuselage and the look of the propellers. I almost wish the plane was banking to make the silhouette a little more interesting.

I agree with the above, but seeing as its not what about straightning the wings so that its horizontal, this will then bring it plumb into the centre horizontally so maybe a crop from the top or bottom may help to bring it onto a third....?? Maybe I'm talking a load of rubbish..........lol

    Good pic though

I kinda like this one as is. Beautiful gradient going on in the background and a very good job of not blowing out the landing lights. It symmetrical but not at the same time which is what generates the interest for me. There is probably enough space to do a rotate/crop without clipping the wings, but if it were me, I'd leave it alone.

    Re: Evening landing

This is a nice night shot with good prop blur - maybe a tad underexposed causing some loss of airplane detail, but I do like the colour of the night sky, the landing/nav lights, extended flaps, and the reflections under the plane.
Not much you can do with a head-on shot of an aircraft. Maybe rotate the plane slightly (to level the wings), and crop the lower (lighter) portion of the sky, without losing the sky degradation, so the plane is just below centre in the pic ?

( . . . see my very similar daytime shot here:

. . . but your evening shot is much more dramatic ! )

Thanks for the encouragement guys, at 200 meters from touch down was unable to get the
pilot to drop the left wing a bit more to improve the shot.

Beautiful sky, nice slight tilt on the plane. I think I would like it even more if perhaps there was a little more space on the sides around the plane. The plane could also be sharper. But I think this shot is a success.
