    This is nice (not a stunning wall hanger, but a very nice shot) , and the rod adds a lot to what would otherwise be a humdrum foreground.

    You need some light on this one, and a rod that doesn't have a broken tip. If you use florescent line, it will show up in sunlight angled from the side or behind.

    I love the way the water looks really soft. Did you use a long shutter speed?

    Jetrim, I planned this one ahead. It is one of my dad's old poles. He has a closet full. I do have a shot without the pole and it is, well to plain.
    Ron the florescent line is a good idea. At one point I had the broken part, tip, cloned but for some reason left it in on this one.

    Jake, yes this was a 10sec exposure, I think? I shot at f/22 to get as long of an exposure as possible. I was going to use my polarizer but it came apart while I was trying to put it on.
