    Equinox Sunrise- the Keeper.

After reviewing the whole shoot this is the image I decided to print and hang. The crop gives more of a panoramic feel and having both edges of the image open helps too. The bird is still in frame but at water level instead of higher in the sky. I printed a 16x24 which shows lots of detail. Gotta love IS with a wide lens.

It was shot 5 seconds before the first image I posted and at 16mm instead of 22mm.

FYI The Olympus EP1 has a 2x conversion factor.

Now that is a stunner! I like the composition much better, nice and clean. Question: What is the black mark in the water left of the sun? I would get rid of that I think.

You can't see it clearly at this size but it is a bird on the wing. I feel it makes the image.

Rofl , sorry bout that! I think it is too far away to make the picture. The atmosphere of the picture does it for me.

MB1, this is one of the best I have seen from you, and I have seen many good ones from you in your time here.
Absolutely perfect. I immediately recognised the bird flying low over the water, but perhaps its not as evident on everyones screen. Does put the icing on the cake, for sure.
    Love it.
    Well done

Really stunning. I think you could break this shot up to several different elements and they could each stand alone. Together, wow.

Its a great shot. And to have taken it on spring equinox makes it even more so.

Well I thought the previous was pretty good, but this eclipses it, I could spend a long time looking at this.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...
