Inspired by "Seb", I thought I'd give this "Twins" stuff a shot...

That's Rocket on the left, and Scientist on the right...

I like it, I think you did a good job, It has a similar feel as the others (Sebs) but different at the same time with the change of outfits and even instruments (although it looks like you have plenty of those to pick from). I like how you added those changes in.
Kinda wants to make me try something along these lines of "Twins".

Well, I think you did a fine job, technically, however if I did not know this was inspired by Sebs "Twins" series I would not know right off that Rocket and Scientist were one in the same. Sure , they look alike here, but because one is looking down face forward and the other is head up and profile and they are dressed differently, the immediate impact of them being the exact same person is lost. It is a good attempt and not a bad shot to begin with, but the "Twins" significance does not come across strong enough, I feel.

Hi there, First of all this is a good attempt at a hard subject. Getting the same person to look slightly different in the same shot is a hard task. I have tried the same thing also. This is my playing with yourself shot...

I dont think this works as well as it could. Keep trying! i know i will. well done!!

I guess my primary audience would be those that know me, and know I have no twin, nor do I closely remsemble any (living) relative. But, I suppose since at least you did not notice anything "unusual", it is somewhat of a compliment to my editing. So I thank you (tink ewe?) for that...

Guys, your pictures are technically succesful in both cases. There is no visible seam betwen the shots. I haven't done that well when I first started to mess arround with the idea.

What camera did you use - a film or digital one? I've done this with a mask with film cameras w/ double exp capability but never this good. But have yet to see a digital camera that has this capability. Or was it done PP?

GB, I think I have once read that the Nikon D2X had "in camera" double exposure capabilities but that's possibly the only DSLR to do so.

Well seeing the fun that is happening in this thread ... i gave it a shot ... had some major problems bringing the 2 images together .. need to try again another night ...

ended up cutting him out and pasting him into the whole pic ... came out ok but not great ...
