    End of Summer Flowers

I was out admiring some of the flowers in my parents' garden and saw this flower, so I started taking photos of it from varying distances. I finally got a shot that I liked, but still felt it was missing something so I went ahead and sprayed water on the flower, I feel that it really added a point of interest on the photo. Again I'd love to hear some feedback concerning this photo.

Did you see that leaf at the top left hand corner? It'd be better without it.

I like how it's big. But I really think it needs more clarity and better sharpness, plus more DOF. Odd how the left side seems sliced by the green.. the geometry is confusing me there, but I think that's partially due to the lack of focus. Good green-red color combination.

I agree about getting rid of that leaf on the top left. A squarer crop would achieve that. I also needs a bit more DOF. that coulda helped in the clarity. but i like your approach and the water drops are awesomely dispersed in this. nicely done.
