    Encampment of Solvent Suckers

There were dozens of crushed beer cans on the ground and empty cans of spray paint and other spray-on substances. They were inhaling the fumes from the spray cans I presume. There was also some bedding material and an old garden cart sealed shut. It must have been during the winter. The ground nearby was soggy with run-off. The loud noise of newborn frogs covered the place.

These are tiny wooded fringes near a shopping center. That's all we have left around here. I like to explore them. In another small woods I found evidence people were trying to build a log cabin.

Don, I love pictures that make a statement. Am glad you added the detailed description it let me appreciate the first picture more. Is it a Pan ? I would like to see more close up shots so I could appreciate the detail. While the second shot doesn't make the statement as well as the first I like it the best looks wise it almost looks abstract. It is quite a find in itself. Thanks for sharing.

Don, this is my second viewing. The spray painted broken trunk has sort of an abstract feel to it. It's too bad that some people use the environment as their personal trash recepticle.

The whole point of the encampment is trash. Lol. Anyway, yes the top photo is a very large pano. I had to shrink it to upload.

You have a gift for titles. I would have never guessed the story.
