    An empty spring rider

    Took this late afternoon-ish. Added a warming filter in photoshop to hopefully enhance the mood.

    I like the color, but it's a bit too dead on, so to speak. I would have liked to see more of what the rest of the animal looked like. Is a horse, a dog or what? Along with the more oblique angle a tighter crop would focus attention more to the subject. I think the subject has potential.

    I disagree with the previous comment a bit, but NKP68 has several valid points. Personally, I like the perspective. It's a lonely image of a toy that is meant to be played on, and in a completely empty playground. Empty playgrounds are creepy. I think the tint to the sky really adds to the somber feeling that the "kid-less horse" gives off.
