Interesting format. Not sure how her shoulders are cut off, though that was obviously planned. The black is a very nice shade of black. Not sure I like how her legs are fading out, but overall, the photo works.

Brent, I think this is fine, but not the stronger of the series so far. What I find wrong with this is that the model looks too cramped up at the bottom of the frame. The pose that I see improving this set up would be to have the model with her legs up filling up a little more space in the frame. Yes, seeing her feet would improve this for me too

yeah I have a couple shots with her feet pointed upwards filling the frame but I liked the pose a bit better with the knees bent. thanks for the comments gb and gary
Don, a little confused as to what you mean by self-conscious. And I don't always photograph to express something. A lot of the time I just do it because it looks nice. Such is the case here.

What I like best about this are the soft angles all throughout the model's position. The rounding of the knees and shoulders, and chin make this a sensuous sort of shot, without exposing anything more of her. I like it a lot.
