    Elevation

Here's one from two weekends ago. We were out bouldering and I decided to try a new perspective.

In this shot he has just been spat off the rock and is beginning his descent back to earth.

    Thanks for looking!

    Why no replies here??

Give it a little more saturation and contrast so it jumps out.

I'm really torn about the branches on the bottom. I don't know if I like it there or not.

The exposure is pretty darn good for the circumstances!

    Re: Elevation

I love it. The trees in the lower part ground the image, the angle creates a sense of perspective and scale (tough to do when trying to show height/steep grades) and the pose against the bright sky reads really well, it's obvious what he's doing right away.

I'd have to vote against fill-flash though, the contrast here makes it for me, and anything reducing it would be detrimental in my eyes. Available light 4ever! ;)
