    Elephant handler, Thailand

I shot this guy's face because he was so intense looking, but I didn't have a chance at a clear shot of him. Comments please. This was done with the Canon S3 IS.

It's OK. I would havent had any idea that it was an Elephant handler though unless you said so... it could have been anything.

Cliff, just a suggestion that you have it display the image in the posting rather than making someone go to another link. I'm sure you'll get better response that way. Lazy people like me hate to have to do multiple clicks and get to something

Thank you for the suggestion, I do not know how to do this. Is ths size to large for me to post?

Any hints or suggestions are welcome as I am a new to this. I will then post more pix along with my threads.

oh, i see that they must be below a certain size.

Here is the staple condiment in Thailand. Hot makes the land even hotter.

Hi Cliff! The picture of the elephant handler is very interesting. The man's expression, the color, exposure and composition are all excellent. I agree with GB1 that the photo itself is out of context, but I think it has a very strong "photo journalism" feel, meaning it would do very well along with a story or article that put it into context. The quality of the picture itself is very nice.

Yeah, this board limits the size to 640 pixels. That's usually adaquate but sometimes the photo to critique really demands a larger view. In that situation you can load you image on another site like PhotoBucket and then link to it (I've never done this, so not sure how to do so).

I hear Thailand is a pretty wild place. Walking around there for a few weeks and snapping photos, that would have to be an excellant experience!

Nicely captured intensity. I'd prefer to see both eyes better lit, but you can get away with having the one, I think.

To add to that, you can also link pics you have uploaded elsewhere and here in your own gallery space you can create on PR.com, via HTML.
All you have to do is have the URL to the actual jpeg file and click on the yellow mountain icon above the the window you type your message in and there you go!
Please keep files to no larger thatn 640 pixels and as low of resolution as possible.
