    Easy Like Sunday Morning

Went in early to work today so I could go snap some more pics beforehand. Spotted this couple enjoying one of the small beaches all by themselves. I wanted to try and capture them from a different angle to make it like a Corona commercial but, the guy was eying me so I left them be. Here's one shot of them I did like.

Aaron, I like your crop. Also the sun beginning to reflect off of the rocks. Very peaceful scene.

Great picture Aaron. The placement of the two lounge chairs are spot on and the little wave between the rocks worked out perfectly. It looks like a postcard and makes me want to visit Maine.

    Re: Easy Like Sunday Morning

It seems very dark for a sunlit scene. As you see from the histogram there is plenty to be gained from a levels adjustment. Once that's done, this is an idyllic scene - well composed. Remeber that beach scenes, like snow scenes, often fool the automatic exposure meter and require overriding for proper exposure.

Now I want to go sit on a beach...

Thanks for the comments guys! Just think Tyson, soon that'll be you. Maybe you could stuff Greg in a suitcase for the trip...LOL

Chunk, thank you for the input No sensor fooling with this shot, just personal preference I guess. I like deep, dark shadows and heavier contrast. The darkening was all added in during processing
