    Ducks On The Pond

Another one I've been sitting on. I boosted the saturation maybe a little more than I should have, so I'll understand if it looks garish to you.

    Re: Ducks On The Pond

I'd like to see the pond a little bit more lit up so I can see the ducks a little more clearly - see if reducing shadows helps out a little bit. The saturation seemed like a problem when I first looked at it, but now I think its the sharpness - it looks like it is a little too sharp, perhaps softening it and leaving saturation as is would solve that..? Good shot, I really like the crop! What is that, 4x7?

4X7 is about right. I want to go back and play with this some more anyway, so I'll reduce some of the saturation, soften it a bit, and lighten the water to bring out the ducks.
    Here's the new version:

Looks like a parade forming up.
I see good for each version color wise. Don't think the first is over saturated but realize the second is probably more realistic.
